Decommissioning and Disposal

When the machine has reached the end of its service life, it must be decommissioned and disposed of properly to ensure safety and environmental protection.

  • Decommissioning: Perform a full shutdown procedure as described in Section 5.2 and disconnect the batteries.

  • Batteries: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries must be recycled at a facility that handles large-format lithium-ion batteries. Contact your local waste authority for recycling options.

  • Electronics: The electronic components (e.g., computer, screen, sensors) should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations for electronic waste.

  • Frame & Components: The metal frame and other components should be recycled where facilities exist.
