Machine Description

The Burro Verde is an electrically powered, four-wheeled autonomous mobile robot. Its main components include:

  • Chassis and Drive System: A steel frame housing four independent electric drive motors.

  • Power System: Two 12V Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries providing a 24V system, with an onboard charger.

  • Sensor Suite: A combination of vision and LiDAR sensors for navigation and obstacle detection. This includes four stereo cameras (12 cameras total) and a 3D LiDAR sensor integrated into the main hoop.

  • Control System: An onboard computer processes sensor data and controls machine movement. The primary operator interface is a 7-inch LCD touchscreen, supplemented by physical button boxes for manual control and emergency stops.
