Decommissioning and Disposal
When the machine has reached the end of its service life, it must be decommissioned and disposed of properly to ensure safety and environmental protection.
Important Disposal Notice
Do not dispose of the Burro or its components in standard municipal waste.
Decommissioning: Perform a full shutdown procedure as described in Section 5.2 and disconnect the batteries.
Batteries: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries must be recycled at a facility that handles large-format lithium-ion batteries. Contact your local waste authority for recycling options.
Electronics: The electronic components (e.g., computer, screen, sensors) should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations for electronic waste.
Frame & Components: The metal frame and other components should be recycled where facilities exist.
