Intended Use
The Burro Grande is an autonomous mobile robot designed for material transport, carrying, and towing across diverse indoor and outdoor agricultural and industrial worksites, such as nurseries, greenhouses, vineyards, and open fields. Its robust build allows for seamless integration into various applications, including landscaping, construction, and logistics.
When equipped with the Cortador attachment, its intended use extends to autonomous mowing of vegetation. When equipped with the Sprayito attachment, its intended use includes spot spraying applications. The machine is designed to operate on varied terrain, including dirt paths, gravel, and concrete.
1.4 Prohibited Use and Reasonably Foreseeable Misuse
Any use outside of the "Intended Use" described above is strictly prohibited. Misuse can lead to dangerous situations and will void the warranty. Prohibited uses include, but are not limited to:
DO NOT ride, sit, or stand on top of the Burro.
DO NOT operate the Burro in high-traffic pedestrian environments (e.g., airports, shopping malls, schools, or public sidewalks). The Burro’s obstacle detection systems are optimized for industrial and agricultural settings; they are not designed to predict or navigate the chaotic, high-density movement of untrained members of the public.
DO NOT carry passengers or use the machine for any form of personnel transport.
DO NOT operate the Burro near a cliff, ledge, or public road.
DO NOT program the Burro to cross a public road, as it will not stop for vehicles traveling over 5 mph (8 kph).
DO NOT tow or pull any object or vehicle, or tether the machine to any fixed object, unless using a Burro-approved hitch for its intended towing purpose.
DO NOT submerge the Burro or drive it into water deeper than 4 inches (10 centimeters).
DO NOT power wash the Burro or use a pressure washer.
DO NOT lie down or place objects in front of the Burro's path.
DO NOT attempt to use the Burro if there are any issues with the screen (e.g., false touches, black screen, improper calibration).
DO NOT modify or disable any safety features, such as bumpers, stop buttons, or obstacle detection sensors.
DO NOT continuously operate the Burro on slopes exceeding the grades specified in the General Safety section of this manual.
Bystander Safety: The Burro must only be operated in areas where all persons present have received basic safety awareness training regarding the robot’s movement. Operating near untrained members of the public is strictly prohibited.
