Dock Placement
Selecting a Dock Location
The dock should be placed close to the supply power receptacle (~2ft), as the line cord is 4’ long.
The robot will need adequate room to back away from the dock, and turn around to drive to its intended mission. The path to turn around is suggested to be at least 15’ wide and 8’ deep to ensure smooth operation and minimize tire wear.
See the below diagram to understand the operating footprint of the robot when using the dock

Optional Shelter
To start a route, the Robot will need a good GPS signal when backing off the dock.
For users that prefer to store the robot in a shelter, the following structure is recommended to optimize for GPS signal quality while protecting Burro from the elements.
Footprint:
9ft Wide (Minimum)
9-10ft Deep
Roof and Sidewall Material:
Clear / UV-stable Polycarbonate panels (greenhouse style, ~3 mm)
Mechanically tough, weatherproof, impact-resistant
Structure:
Avoid using metal structural materials (wood prefered)
