Permanent setup
If you wish to mount your Base Station in a permanent location for continuous operation, you must configure it to Permanent Mode. This mode is designed for long-term installations where the Base Station will remain stationary.
Setting Up Permanent Mode1
First, ensure that the Base Station has successfully surveyed in (indicated by a solid green LED).
Once confirmed, press and hold the power button until the Survey-in Indicator changes to blue. This indicates that the Base Station is now in Permanent Mode.
Constant Power Connection2
To provide continuous power to the Base Station, it is crucial to use the water-sealing USB-C cable to connect to the USB-C port on the Base Station. This cable ensures the unit remains powered while protecting against moisture and environmental elements.
