Disclaimer for BOSS API Usage
WARNING: RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
This application programming interface (API) provides a method for the remote operation of Burro robotic equipment. Use of this API does not alter or supersede any safety requirements, operational procedures, or warnings contained within the most current official Operator's Manual for your machine and its attachments. As the operator, you are solely responsible for all activity commanded via this API.
Prerequisite for Use
By proceeding, you confirm that you have read, fully understand, and agree to be bound by the entire contents of the latest official Operator's Manual. This includes, but is not limited to:
All safety warnings, symbols, and signal words.
The sections on Intended Use, Prohibited Use, and Reasonably Foreseeable Misuse.
All identified Residual Risks (e.g., crushing, collision, blind spots, and attachment hazards).
Procedures for safe operation and emergency stops.
Mandatory Conditions for Initiating Control via API
Before sending any command that results in machine motion, you must verify the following conditions:
Direct Line of Sight: You have a direct, unobstructed line of sight to the robot to start autonomous control, or have proper operational controls in place to address residual risks described in the Operator’s manual.
Clear Path: The robot's intended path is clear of all personnel, equipment, and other potential hazards before starting autonomous control.
Agreement
Use of the BOSS API constitutes your unconditional acceptance of these terms and your agreement to operate the equipment strictly in accordance with the Operator's Manual. If you do not agree to these terms or have not read the manual, do not use this API.
