Set Up a Row to Row Mission
Before Burro can run rows, your site needs to be mapped and your routes published. This page covers what "ready to run" looks like and links to the detailed setup guides.
Map your site
RTK Torch — record a point at each row end with the GEO-MEASURE app (Point mode), centered on the row. Collect points in order — up one side of the block and down the other — without missing rows or duplicating them. Burro drives no closer to a row than its end point. See the Permanent Row Crop Data Collection guide
Export & import — export the points as GeoJSON (WGS84) from GEO-MEASURE, then upload them to BOSS Web.
Drone map — place or adjust points and draw curved rows on a high-resolution base map.
Exclusion zones — mark areas Burro should never enter. See the Exclusion Zone section
Build your routes in BOSS Web
Import your points and generate row routes in BOSS Web. See Row Area & Path Generation for the full workflow — importing Torch points, drawing crop lines and row areas, running Crop Fill, and publishing to the robot.
Pre-run checklist
Burro charged and the correct implement attached.
Route published and visible on the robot.
Rows clear of people and equipment.
Burro will slow or stop for detected obstacles.
