Mission Builder (Beta)
Mission Builder (Beta) expands the task selection flow so you can build missions from more than just destinations. In addition to navigating to a location, you can now add routes, mowing tasks, and support other mobility actions, such as spraying or RFID scanning—and send a Burro from its home location to complete tasks across your site network.
Turn it on
Go to Settings → Developer → Experimental.
Enable Advanced Task Builder.
Return to the Mission Builder—advanced task selection is now active.
How it Works
Tap “Add +”1
Open your mission and select Add + to include a new task.
Choose a Task Type or Search2
Note
By default, the list shows Destinations only.
Open Filter to show Routes, Mowing, or Destinations, and optionally include Reachable and/or Unreachable tasks.
Filters are saved and persist through power cycles and future selection flows.
You can search globally from the first screen, or search within a task type after you select it.

Add the Start Point (Optional but often required)4
For Routes and Mowing, a Start Point is typically added automatically so the Burro knows where to begin.
If no start point is in your mission list, the Burro won’t start the route/mowing task unless it is already at that task’s start location.
For mower usage: Mowing tasks require the Burro Cortador. Third-party mowers aren’t supported for the Mowing task type. If you have a third-party attachment, use Routes instead.
Ensure your mower/route is connected to the site network (see “Requirements” below).

Review your tasks and start the mission. The Burro will navigate and execute tasks in the order you’ve set
Details
Default list shows Destinations only. Use Filter to view Routes and Mowing.
Search is available on the first screen (global) and again at the task level.
Filters persist—set them once and they’ll stick (no reset across reboots or relaunches).
Start Point needed to navigate: To travel from a non-start location to a task, your mission must include a Start Point for that task.
Network required for navigation to tasks: All Routes and Mowing tasks must be connected to your site network to allow navigation to them from elsewhere on site.
Requirements
Mowing tasks: Only supported with the Burro Cortador mower. Third-party mowers are not supported for the Mowing task type.
Routes & Mowing: Must be network-connected (and synced) for the Burro to navigate to them from other locations.
Permissions: You’ll need permission to access Developer → Experimental to enable the beta.
Tips
If you frequently use Routes or Mowing, set your filters once; they’ll stay on for future missions.
When in doubt, confirm the Start Point appears in your task list—this is the most common reason a route or mowing task won’t begin.
Troubleshooting
I only see destinations.
Open Filter and select Routes and/or Mowing. Filters persist once set.The route/mowing task won’t start.
Make sure a Start Point for that task is in the mission, or move the Burro to the task’s start location. Confirm the task is network-connected.I’m using a third-party mower and mowing won’t start.
Mowing tasks require Cortador. Use a Route task for third-party attachments.
